MEET YOUR TEACHERS

Dr. Diana Azavedo - Lead Teacher

Diana is our lead teacher trainer with nearly two decades of teaching experience in Dubai, Bali, and India. Diana holds a Doctorate in Philosophy of Yoga, Master’s degree in the Science of Yoga. She is also an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) and a continuing education provider. Her passion is to make yoga socially relevant in today’s fast paced lifestyle by blending ancient tradition and wisdom with modern living.



Alexandra Collishaw - Guest teacher

Alexandra is a UK-trained physiotherapist with over 25 years of experience. After graduating from the University of Nottingham in 1998, she worked in the NHS and served 7 years as a Military Physiotherapist in the British Army, treating patients around the world. She has been practicing in Dubai since 2011. With a postgraduate diploma in Sports Physiotherapy from Bath University, Alexandra has worked with elite athletes including the GB Triathlon Team and British Army sports teams. She now specializes in Women’s Health, with a focus on prenatal and postnatal care, pelvic pain, menopause, and incontinence. Passionate about helping women return to movement, she blends clinical expertise with her love for running and triathlons. Her specialties include:

Katharina Mestermann - Guest teacher

Kate is a German-trained midwife with over 25 years of experience. She worked for 10 years at the University Hospital in Munich before relocating to Dubai in 2008, where she spent 12 years at Mediclinic City Hospital. Now working as a community midwife with Babies & Beyond, Kate supports women during pregnancy and in the postpartum period. She is also a certified baby massage instructor. Known for her warm and supportive approach, Kate combines clinical expertise with compassion to guide parents through the early stages of parenthood.
