TEACHER BIO:
Emma Palmer

Emma’s spiritual journey began in England, where her early experiences with faith led her to explore meditation in her teens. In 1998, after moving to Australia, she discovered Kashmir Shaivism through the Siddha Yoga lineage at the Melbourne Ashram, where she first experienced the power of chanting, Satsaṅg, and Yoga practices like Āsana, Meditation, Kriyā, and Prāṇāyāma. Inspired by these teachings, Emma completed a 1400-hour Yoga Teacher Training between 2001 and 2003 and has since taught over 15,000 hours.

In 2005, Emma founded Moksha Yoga and later established the Moksha Academy, a leading Yoga Teacher Training program in Australia, known for its practical and immersive learning experiences. She is an E-RYT-500 with Yoga Alliance (US), a Senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Australia, and a member of the Meditation Association of Australia. Emma continues to offer trainings, retreats, and immersive experiences, blending ancient wisdom with modern relevance to awaken deeper consciousness.

Highly respected for her authentic teaching style, Emma remains a devoted student of the practice and is committed to sharing her knowledge with others.
