Ashtanga Vinyasa
The Primary Series, involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures—a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.
Students will learn the basics of a led Ashtanga practice including breath, drishti, and proper vinyasa count. This class is suitable for beginners as well as students with an existing Ashtanga practice. Students will be guided through half of the poses in the Primary Series.
