Join us for a rejuvenating retreat designed to take you back home and reconnect with yourself in Bali, also known as the ‘Island of the Gods’ at the beautiful Being Sattvaa Wellness Retreat Surrounded by lush green rainforest, this environment will be your sanctuary for seven days to learn about the great tools that yoga has to offer to find steadiness and sweetness in our daily lives. With two daily yoga practices, Pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation, we will explore tools such as the Yamas & Niyamas (ethical guidelines) and learn how to apply them in our practice and daily life. THE RESORT


Being Sattva Wellness Retreat speaks to the notion of being in balance and understanding our different energy levels (the gunas). A space dedicated to restore your complete being in an exclusive setting of ten Balinese garden villas where you can reconnect with yourself and nature. Enjoy the sunrises and sunsets, longs walks and treks, swims, spa, beautiful tropical Balinese garden, nearby cultural events, sightseeing in Ubud… Nutritionally balanced Asian and Western cuisine delicately flavored with fresh produce from their garden.

This retreat will be lead by Geraldine Hardy of Azure Yoga , who has been teaching internationally in France, Bali and in Dubai at ZOGA. Before sharing her BelovedYoga teachings, she worked for 17 years in a fast pace business environment, which helps her now to draw her work and life experience into her yoga teachings. She shares the tools of Yoga to empower fellow practitioners to reconnect to themselves as well as create a relationship with themselves to find peace and calmness. Geraldine is a RYT 200hr teacher with BelovedYoga and continues her studies with BelovedYoga founder Maryam Ovissi and Jafar Alexander, Indra Mohan and A.G. Mohan. She embraces the teachings of Sri Krishnamacharya, ‘founder of Modern Yoga’ as we know it today and shared with the lineages of Ashtanga, Iyengar and Viniyoga. Her teachings follow the principles of ‘sthira sukham asanam’ (Yoga Sutra 2.46) – ‘creating the appropriate amount of effort to sustain ease in the body and mind’. Experiencing this balance ‘on the mat’ and then taking it ‘off the mat’ in our daily lives.

THE MEALS

The vegetarian menu offers and abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables. You will begin the day with a healthy breakfast with fresh fruit and cold-pressed vegetable and fruit juices, whole-grain bread, and a variety of delicious health-food options

A vegetarian dinner will be offered for the length of your stay.

ACCOMMODATION:


Queen and Twin Pavillion

Each double or queen bed bedroom is individually designed with private terraces, spacious bathrooms with bath tub, separate shower room with rain showers and full bathroom amenities. All bathrooms have their own private tropical gardens.

UBUD, BALI


BeingSattvaa is in the village of Kenderan, a 10-minute drive from the bustling Ubud town-centre. It is set amidst the famed rice fields of Tegallalang, fringed by rice paddies on one side and rain forest on the other.
Ubud is a quaint and remarkable town in the middle of the island of Bali. For more than a century, it has been the island’s preeminent centre for fine arts, dance and music – it is truly the cultural and artistic capital of Bali. This rambling country town, made up of several artisan villages, each dedicated to one particular art or craft, is located an hour’s drive north of the airport. The air is pungent, smelling of the earth, river and forests, all of which can be found in plenty in Ubud. Ubud boasts some of Bali’s most stunning resorts and spas, and sophisticated restaurants serving the best of Asian and Western cuisine. Elegant hotels, sprawling mansions and quaint villas now stand on its outskirts, overlooking the most amazing views in Bali. Ubud is now a hub of literature, art, music and dance. It draws people who add something; people who are actively involved in art, nature, wellness, anthropology, music, dance, architecture, environmentalism, and more.
Ubud’s unique ecosystem and culture make it an ideal place to practice wellness, a perfect getaway, if you will.

GOA DETOX RETREAT, MARCH 14-20 2016

Located on the beautiful and unspoiled Mandrem Beach in the very north of Goa, Ashiyana Yoga and Spa Village is set amidst abundant, tropical flora and fauna. It has been designed as a deeply nurturing space where you can relax your body, calm your mind, and awaken to your inner peace of being.
This retreat will focus on getting rid of things that no longer serve our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

YOGA/MEDITATION/WORKSHOP

With early morning meditation and pranayama (breathing) classes, followed by 2 led yoga sessions per day, you are guaranteed to leave this retreat feeling rested and energized.
In addition, a workshop on deep backbends will be offered, to help open the front body and the heart center. This will allow you to fully embrace the positive effects of the detox.

MEALS:

Three days of our retreat will focus on gently detoxifying your system. Soups, fruits and vegetables will only be served.
The rest of the days a healthy buffet with wholesome and delicious foods will be served. All food and juices are prepared fresh daily and are mostly organic.

ACCOMMODATION:

The accommodation is in the form of luxury eco-lodges, tree houses and stone-built houses set amidst lush tropical gardens, statues and water features. Shared and private accommodation are both available.
Jaipur Suite (Shared)- This beautiful shared room resembles the Pink City of Jaipur. It’s a lovely suite, with two separate sleeping areas, each with a comfortable big bed. It has a spacious bathroom and a nice outdoor area, where you can relax and take in the nature.

Jaisalmer Suite (Shared)- Stay in this spacious suite and let it take you away to the beautiful streets of the sleepy desert city of Jaisalmer. This suite has two separate sleeping areas, each with a comfortable big bed. It also has a big bathroom, including big bathtub, and poolside and riverside view balconies.

Jodpur Suite (Shared)- The amazing dreamy vibe of the Blue City of Jodhpur has been captured in this room. Two separate sleeping areas, each with a comfortable big bed, make it very spacious. It has a charming balcony to sit and relax on, overlooking the river and palm trees. It comes with a beautiful Zen stone bathroom with a shower and circular tub.

Mango Tree House (Shared)- This gorgeous shared suite is in fact a tree house up a mango tree. Its beautiful wooden details are very relaxing. The front balcony looks through the foliage of the mango trees, and the wooden bathroom at the rear is semi-open offering stunning views of the river and surrounding trees and countryside

Spa View Suite (Shared)- This gorgeous suite has a very chilled layout and is very peaceful. It has two separate sleeping area’s, both with comfortable big beds, surrounded by spacious windows with a lovely view over Ashiyana’s garden and the natural swimming pool

Moon Villa (Private)- Named after its moon-like shaped roof, Moon Villa is a beautiful ground floor room with several skylights. This amazing villa is the perfect stay for our retreat. You get the luxury and privacy to fully embrace everything you will experience.

Little Dome (Private)- Little Dome is a unique room with a high oval shaped ceiling, skylight and characterful dark pink walls. This cute little room has everything you need for a retreat. Privacy, comfort and a daytime lounge on the outside porch.
