Our afternoon kids yoga classes provide for a positive and interactive after school activity.
In each class, different yoga poses are explored through creative stories, exciting games and engaging activities. All of these are designed to help children build strength, flexibility and balance – and the class is set in an encouraging and nurturing environment.
Additionally, our classes also emphasize on relaxation and stillness for children. This is practiced through calming segments which include different meditation games, silent colouring sessions and some breath exploration fun!
Classes are suitable for children between the ages of 4 and 10 years old.

About the Instructor
Zainab came across yoga by mere chance in 2014, looking to balance out a hectic corporate life. After her first Ashtanga class – Zainab continued to pursue the study and practice of yoga by attending several classes a week. 6 short months later, she committed herself to a daily Ashtanga Mysore style practice and has not looked back since then.
It was during this time that she completed her children’s yoga training at Groovykids.
Combining her passion and love for yoga with her fondness of children seemed like the perfect combination. Zainab is a strong advocate of introducing yoga to children and providing them the opportunity to participate and grow in this non-competitive, encouraging and positive environment that yoga creates for the little ones. Zainab’s idea of a wonderful kids yoga class includes fun imaginative stories, creative engaging games – and of course, tons of fun and laughter!
