Ashtanga Vinyasa

The Primary Series, involves synchronising the breath with a progressive series of postures—a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.

Candlelight Vinyasa

The foundation of this class will be Vinyasa style, which uses different flowing sequences each week covering a wide variety of themes. There is a lot of emphasis on personal freedom within the instructions, our philosophy is to guide you to make the practice about yourself. Each class will have a warm-up, dynamic and finishing sequence and will include a wide range of asanas. A warm and relaxing environment is created with the use of candles and music.

Fundamentals of Yoga

Ideal for beginners, this class will go over the basics and fundamentals of yoga. Sun salutations and other basic postures will be covered to allow an easy transition into a Level 1-2 class.Sign up for this class

Hot Power Yoga

Strengthen and detoxify your body in this more dynamic and core oriented class. Hot Power Yoga is a modern and more ‘athletic’ form of yoga. We are non-dogmatic in our approach and believe there is no such thing as the perfect yoga pose. You’re free to take the modifications or a rest pose anytime, for as long as your body needs it.

Pre Natal / Post Natal Class

: For new or soon-to-be moms, we offer an inspiring series of pre and post natal classes. Explore opportunities to deepen your practice at all stages of your baby’s life. Prenatal Yoga provides a safe and calming environment for pregnant women to nurture their bodies and bond with their unborn babies. This class will help build and maintain strength, stamina and flexibility and improve balance and circulation. Yoga can also alleviate many of the discomforts of pregnancy such as nausea, constipation, varicose veins, swelling, back pain and sciatica.The breathing techniques and meditative aspects of yoga can help to alleviate anxiety sounding pregnancy and childbirth which can be carried though and applied during labour. Prenatal classes are specially modified for women in any stage of pregnancy, no yoga experience necessary.
*Postnatal Yoga classes help recover and recharge the body after pregnancy. It is a gentle flow class open to mothers from 6 weeks post partum after a natural birth and 12 weeks after a birth involving medical interventions such as a C section or the use of forceps. The class will help the body regain in strength and resilience through mindful asana practice, especially focusing on the pelvic floor and the abdominals. The postures will strengthen and tone the body, rebuilding muscles and offering more stability to the areas weakened by pregnancy, such as core, legs, back and shoulders. Mindfulness based breathing and meditation exercises will also help find the inner emotional “core” and a sense of balance and overall well-being. Sign up for this class

Restorative Yoga & Guided Meditation

This class will focus on a blissful sequence of tranquil, restful postures that will relax and restore you. Simple exercises and postures to help in self awareness, relaxing our body, relieving stress and bringing healing to the body, mind and self. Gentle, yet of immense benefit to all, this class will help us feel the importance of true, deep relaxation to our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. YIN YANG

Yin/Yang Yoga is a class that balances the Yin yoga practice for the first half of the class with traditional Yang yoga practices (Hatha or Ashtanga based asanas) for the second half of the class. This class can provide you with a practice that starts with deep, introspective, and quiet yoga that evolves into an energizing and uplifting yoga that sets you on your way for the rest of your day.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga. Yin poses are in a sitting or lying position where gravity can do most of the work. We disengage and relax our muscles and our minds. We surrender by suspending the body and the minds’ urge to control, grasp to, judge or classify experience. We just observe. Activity is slow, steady & often stationary, with a sense of core softness and surrender. By stretching and compressing connective tissue, such as the ligaments, bones & joints of the body for extended periods of time, we maintain healthy range of motion in the body, even as we age.
